Unbroken: Path to Redemption (Trailer + New Stills)

Louis Zamperini’s story continues in Unbroken: Path to Redemption, and we finally have a first look at the trailer of the sequel, which chronicles more of the Olympian and Japanese prisoner of war’s life. This faith-based sequel directed by God’s Not Dead filmmaker Harold Cronk picks up after Zamperini returns home from WWII and covers the final third of author Laura Hillenbrand’s best-selling book about him.

Based on Laura Hillenbrand’s bestselling book, Unbroken: Path to Redemption begins where the hit movie Unbroken concludes, sharing the next amazing chapter of the unbelievable true story of Olympian and World War II hero Louis Zamperini. Haunted by nightmares of his torment, Louie sees himself as anything but a hero. Then, he meets Cynthia, a young woman who captures his eye—and his heart. Louie’s wrathful quest for revenge drives him deeper into despair, putting the couple on the brink of divorce. Until Cynthia experiences Billy Graham’s 1949 Los Angeles Crusade where she finds faith in God and a renewed commitment to her marriage and her husband. Now, her most fervent prayer is for God to help Louie find the peace and forgiveness he so desperately needs.

Merritt Joins ‘The Art Of More’ Season 2 Cast

Merritt has signed on to the second season cast of Crackle’s hourlong drama series The Art of More, joining stars Dennis Quaid, Kate Bosworth, Cary Elwes and Christian Cooke. She will play Olivia Brukner, the sassy, smart, no-nonsense daughter of Samuel Brukner (Quaid). Olivia comes to New York looking to reconnect with her father while she navigates an uncertain future. But there’s more than meets the eye with Olivia, who brings out a never-before-seen side of her brash billionaire father.

The Art of More was created by Chuck Rose, who co-writes and executive produces with Gardner Stern. Quaid, Laurence Mark and Tamara Chestna, also serve as executive producers. Brendan Kelly (Weeds) joins Season 2 as executive producer and writer.
